The International Association of Professional Wedding Photographers (IAPWP) welcomes only the best.

Each applicant

• must have gained experience on over four dozen weddings,
• has to submit a portfolio for review,
• has to have a member as a personal sponsor -
  or must provide at least four references, and
• agrees to operate by our strict Code of Conduct.

Only then, our members vote on the applicant – if
the IAPWP can welcome a new member, at all:In the UK, for instance, we enforce a limit of 40 (forty) members.

These criteria give us a unique standing among professional bodies of wedding photographers. They serve one goal:
